- A highly competent professional with around 15 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management, Vendor Development, Windows Server, Desktops, Switches and Firewall and VPN.Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate networks and in house servers.
- Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.
- Keep an eye out for needed updates.
- Support and administer third-party applications.
- Ensure network security and connectivity
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
- Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
- Resolve problems reported by end user
- Define network policies and procedures
- Specify system requirements and design solutions
- Research and make recommendations on server system administration
- Planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the current infrastructure.
- Performing troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving and disaster recovery and providing expert support when necessary.
- Formulating and implementing best practices with respect to Network Security and procurement and implementation of the necessary Hardware / Software like, firewalls, Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam Gateways. Monitoring Network Security, Firewall Alerts, checking the cleaning up the quarantined messages in IMSS and Security Alerts.
- Expertise & Practical experience in VOIP
- Practically handled minimum 200 desktop environment Requirements and skills • Proven experience in a network administrator role
- Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
- Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
- Ability to set up and configure server hardware
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
- Great at organising, prioritising and multitasking
- Must have experience in BPO Domain
- Bachelor’s / Engineering degree in Computer Science or related field.
